Milk carton creative crafts: homemade game turntable
Make a large turntable out of milk cartons, and children can play
the coin-operated turntable game. Every time they turn,
they may get happy surprises.
Materials: 1 1L milk carton, cardboard, coloring pen, tape,
1 bamboo skewer, stapler, 1 straw, glue, scissors
1. Cut off the opening of the milk carton.
Decorate the milk carton by wrapping it with colorful tape.
2. Cut a section about 5cm from the opening of the milk carton.
3. Holding the cut part, press the 4 sides with your fingers of both hands,
and press inward to form a cross shape.
4. Use a stapler to secure the cross-shaped runner.
5.The outer edges of the four blades of the runner are folded
upward 5mm in the same direction.
6.Cut the bamboo stick into 10cm length and pass it through
the center of the wheel. Adjust the wheel to the middle position
of the bamboo stick, and use glue on both sides to fix the wheel
and bamboo stick together so that the wheel will not move left or right.
7. Cut the remaining milk carton 4 cm inward from the opening
along the four edges.
8. Fold the cut piece inward, seal the opening, and secure with tape.
9. Use an awl or scissors to poke a small hole in the center of
the opposite sides of the box for the bamboo skewer to pass through.
10. On the side with the poke hole, cut a small door as shown.
11. On the side adjacent to the small door, cut a rectangle at the top
as a coin slot, as shown in the picture.
12. Cut 3mm pieces from the straw, you will need 3 pieces in total.
Place small pieces of straw on the bamboo skewers on both sides
of the runner. Then insert the bamboo sticks on both sides of the
runner into the opened holes, and then close the small door.
13. Put a small piece of straw on the bamboo stick outside the door.
In addition to the straws, put on a large turntable that the children
drew with cardboard.
14. Then glue the turntable and bamboo skewer together in the center.
15.The game wheel is now ready. Throw a coin in from the coin slot,
and the coin will fall on the wheel, driving the wheel to rotate,
and the wheel will drive the turntable outside the box to rotate.
