Nowadays, there are many types of dairy products with various ingredients, so the
requirements for packaging are also different. The purpose of dairy product packaging
is to find the most suitable packaging materials according to the requirements of different
types of dairy products, extend the storage period of dairy products, ensure their quality,
and facilitate sales.
First of all, different dairy products are suitable for different packaging. According to the
dairy products, there are mainly the following types:
Fresh milk packaging mainly includes Tetra Pak, Combibloc, Tetra Pak Pillow, Rooftop,
Baileys and composite plastic film bags. Depending on the structure of the packaging
material, it can be used for packaging pasteurized milk, ultra-high temperature sterilized
(UHT) milk and flavored milk.
The packaging of yogurt and flavored milk is mainly cup packaging, plastic bottles and
a small amount of glass bottles.
Dairy packaging is mainly divided into the following categories according to packaging form:
1. Carton type: such as Tetra Pak, Combibloc, roof box, etc.;
2. Glass bottles;
3. Bag type: mainly composite plastic bags;
4. Plastic cup: mainly used for yogurt packaging.
