The scope of application of the new standard for plastic materials for food contact
The new standard is applicable to resins, resin blends, plastic materials ( various plastic particles, chips, masterbatches, sheets ), plastic products, unvulcanized thermoplastic elastomer materials and products. It is also suitable for starch-based plastic materials and products for food contact. Note : plant fiber products also belong to plastic products, but the use of plant fiber fillers need to apply for authorization in accordance with the new varieties of additives. At present, the coffee residue has been applied for authorization, and other plant fiber fillers have not been applied for or authorized for approval.
